“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Statement of Faith
1.The Godhead
We believe in the one true God, eternally existent in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—distinct yet co-equal, co-eternal, and of the same essence (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). God the Father is the source of all, Jesus the Son is the Word made flesh and our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit is God present and active in and through the Church.
2. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus the Messiah/Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, rose bodily on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He is the only way of salvation and will return again in glory (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; John 14:6).
3. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation (Romans 3:23). Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, not by human effort, law-keeping, or works (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5). Good works are the fruit of salvation, not the source of it (James 2:17).
4. Baptism
We believe water baptism is an act of obedience and public identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It does not save us, but it is a declaration of faith and a step of discipleship for every believer who has put their trust in Jesus (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4).
5. The Holy Spirit and Empowerment
We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells, sanctifies, teaches, and empowers believers for holy living and service (John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8). We affirm that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to carry out the supernatural ministry described in Mark 16:17–18—healing, deliverance, authority over darkness, and bold witness—always under the Lordship of Jesus and in agreement with Scripture.
6. Gifts of the Spirit for Today
We believe that all the gifts of the Spirit described in Scripture—including prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues, healing, miracles, discernment, and words of wisdom and knowledge—are for the Church today and are to be earnestly desired and exercised in love, order, and submission to the Word of God (1 Corinthians 12–14; Romans 12:6–8; Acts 2:17–18). These gifts are given for the edification of the Body and the advancement of the Kingdom.
7. Fruit of the Spirit
We believe the true evidence of a Spirit-filled life is not only power but also transformation. The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—should be increasingly evident in the life of every believer (Galatians 5:22–23). Character must accompany calling.
8. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final rule for faith, life, and doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). All prophetic, deliverance, and ministry expressions must align with Scripture.
9. The Church and Mission
We believe the universal Church is the Body of Christ made up of all believers, and that every believer is called to maturity, holiness, and participation in the mission of God—making disciples, setting captives free, and establishing the rule of Jesus in every sphere (Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:11–13; Luke 4:18).
